My passion for storytelling started in 2007 as a program producer for local radio station CFMB Radio 1280. During this time, I also ventured into the film industry as a production assistant, an art director, and a film producer. The first feature length film I co-produced won the bronze prize at the Fantasia Film Festival for Best Canadian Feature Film as voted by the audience.
Several years later, I spearheaded all growth marketing efforts for Montreal-based startup SkyMotion where I consistently secured top-tier coverage that included TechCrunch, the Guardian, and Fast Company despite having zero PR connections and virtually no marketing budget. The startup was acquired by AccuWeather 12 months after its launch and is now used by 140 million people on a monthly basis.
I was soon determined to explore nearly every facet of the traditional and digital marketing spectrum, working with global B2C and B2B brands such as Gardaworld, Groupe Dynamite, WSP Canada, and LCI Education. During my time at OMsignal, I also collaborated with world-renowned brand Ralph Lauren for a major product launch.
Over the past 12 years, I’ve also navigated through various industries, including tech, retail, automotive, security, SaaS, education, recruitment, civil engineering, and fashion, cultivating a wide spectrum of expertise and adaptability in my career journey.
I’m currently leveraging my experience as an instructor and content expert at College LaSalle where I teach various subjects such as marketing strategy, building an online presence, how to be an effective freelancer, and digital marketing. I’ve also served as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and collaborated with LCI Education’s Instructional Designers to ensure course materials remain relevant to today’s students and global audiences.
While I spent the better part of the last decade tackling a variety of challenges and experiences, I am currently looking for new opportunities to expand my horizons; truth be told I feel I’ve only tackled the tip of the iceberg!
